VEGA was hired to assist in the reconfiguration of two large industrial food processing facilities in Lousville, CO. The work involved refining their construction standards for future efficient buildups, equipment, space upgrades and health department compliance.
Mikvah of East Denver | MOED
It all begins with an idea.
We were honored to have been approached for this project to design a religious bathhouse for the Jewish community. We sought to celebrate this spiritual act of cleansing the soul by abstractly referencing the natural pools of the original Mikvah’s. All while maintaining texture, materiality and the human scale so that it always feels relatable. The path from entering the site, approaching the doors, to the changing room and to the immersion pool was all carefully designed to anticipate beauty, function, privacy and spirituality. We are excited to see it completed.

Walgreens Distribution Center

VEGA was hired to design this large scale pharmacological distribution center that served nursing homes in the Denver region. Clean standards and thoroughly addressing the multiple layers of security was paramount.
AVIANO coffee | Cherry Creek

VEGA was hired to design this iconic coffee house in Cherry Creek to celebrate the process of making coffee and to remove traditional barriers between the client and the barista. Custom from top to bottom, each section of the production area was meticulously planned with function, theater, process and community in mind.
Mountain Office

Sited up in the mountains just west of Denver, this project required a substantial remodel of an 80’s modernist office building in to an open, inviting and collaborative space.

This project, for a defense focused IT Firm was designed to be welcoming and bright but also to adhere to current NIPSOM security standards.
Wazee Exchange

This project, also listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was a labor of love. Exhaustive research and planning allowed us to peel back many decades of alteration in order to restore this building to its former glory, while also adding in new modern elements to create a vibrant office and workspace in LoDo.
Atlanta / Sunrise Data Center
It all begins with an idea.
We designed an upgrade for an existing data center in the Atlanta, GA area. The Data Center needed to be secure, adaptable, user-focused and energy efficient. By using our Building Information Model to model and tag equipment and services as well as the architectural features, we set ourselves up to have a robust model that would allow a.VDC estimating during design, energy modeling, clash detection, scheduling, pre-installation walkthroughs, construction and ultimately facility management.

Rock Island

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this project successfully utilized National Park Service standards and the Historic Tax Credit process to convert and restore this project from a night club to an office building. We were able to research and rehabilitate much of this building to its former glory while still creating new and relevant modern design in areas where restoration was not possible.
Garfield Townhomes

This 16 unit townhome development was designed to add density and texture to the growing east Cherry Creek neighborhood by utilizing natural materials and scale sensitive design.
Asbury Court

This 32 unit townhome development was designed as infill in the growing DU neighborhood. In addition to careful materiality and experience based design, this project achieved a remarkable unit density by carefully and creatively utilizing site topography and site circulation.
Lowenstein Theater, Retail and Parking
It all begins with an idea.
This project combined the renovation of the historic Lowenstein theater with a new parking garage, retail and theater. This provided a hub for the arts by creating a space and community for the legendary Tattered Cover bookstore, Twist & Shout music and a new theater for the Denver Film festival.
